About me

I like animation because it has so much to do with dreams. What I like most is the moment when a character into which much time has been invested, suddenly comes to life through animation. This never ceases to fascinate me.

Computer animation has interested me since I first viewed images of it in the 80’s. It is a medium where art and science can come together to produce surrealistic imagery. Characters and environments, which might be very simple design-wise, can be filmed as in live-action cinematography. For me, the possibility of combining simulated and abstracted elements makes it an exciting tool for storytelling.
